Bring your soccer ball and get it signed by your favorite Mustang players. 50/50 RAFFLE SOCCER SWAP - Bring your old soccer shorts, jerseys, shoes, shinguards and other stuff and swap it for soccer stuff that actually fits. OTHER SURPRISES - The AYSA Board of Directors is working on other surprises as well. We want this to be a fun evening for ALL attending (kids and adults), so come expecting to have a good time. |

The 2008 AYSA Season Starts September 6, 2008Mark your calendars for Saturday games starting September 6. Coaches will be receiving your player's contact information in their roster packs at the Mandatory Coaches Meeting on August 23rd. You should hear from them within a few days of that - there are only two weeks of practice before the first games. Uniforms (including socks) will be provided to your player as part of their comprehensive registration fee. REQUIRED - Your players will need soccer shoes and shinguards for the season - they should wear these at ALL practices and games. SUGGESTED - It is also recommended that they have extra soccer shorts and t-shirts or practice jerseys as well as extra pairs of long socks to wear for each practice. AYSA does not provide this extra equipment, although come to our Soccer Swap at the Family Day on September 2nd and you might find something. SOCCER BALL - AYSA provides a few soccer balls to each coach at the beginning of the season - but we can't provide enough for each player. While it is not required that each player has their own soccer ball, AYSA strongly recommends that your player should have their own ball if it is at all possible. This will help at practice sessions as well as give your player opportunities to work with a soccer ball around the house. The more "touches" a player has on the ball throughout the day, the more their skills will improve. U6 & U8 - Size 3 ball U10 & U12 - Size 4 ball U14 & above - Size 5 ball |
